Deployment bias in AI refers to the introduction of biases and unintended consequences that can occur when AI systems are put into real-world use.   5. Bias Amplification: When an AI system is deployed, it can inadvertently amplify existing biases present in the society or organization. To mitigate deployment bias, it's essential to:

  • Encourage user feedback and adapt the system based on this feedback.
  • Implement robust governance and ethical guidelines to oversee AI deployment.
  • Ensure transparency and explainability so that users understand how the AI system makes decisions.

By addressing these factors, organizations can reduce the risk of deployment bias and ensure that AI systems are fair, reliable, and effective in real-world applications.
